is-mind.com is written and reviewed by a small team of five writers. Each has a distinct voice and a type of question they’re built to answer — not a section of the site. A single section often holds three or four of us, because a piece about dreams needs a different writer than a piece about the mechanics of tarot. Every article is researched with AI assistance, then read, fact-checked, and edited by a human before it goes live.

Master — Founder & Editor

Master founded is-mind.com and oversees every piece of content. He sets the editorial direction, reviews each article before publication, and is the accountable author behind the byline. Read his full bio →

Luna Vale — The Intuitive

Dreams, energy, symbol, and the practice of intuition

Luna works in symbol and sensation. Her beat is card symbolism, chakras and the energy body, recurring numbers, planetary timing, and the daily rituals that keep intuition audible. She reads a spread the way you’d read the air before a storm — not for prediction, but for what’s already pressing on the room. Her pieces are short, image-led, and built to be felt before they’re understood.

Sage Mercer — The Scholar

Psychology, mechanism, history, and “why this works”

Sage explains the machinery. Jung and Adler, Bowlby and attachment theory, the structural history of tarot, the psychology behind intuition — and honest platform reviews where the evidence matters more than the enthusiasm. She names her sources, qualifies what isn’t settled, and is comfortable saying we don’t actually know. If you’ve ever wanted someone to explain why a deck works on a mind that’s paying attention, she’s the one.

Iris Calder — The Warm Narrator

Shadow work, self-compassion, grief, and the emotional side of the cards

Iris writes the pieces that need somewhere soft to land. Childhood wounds, shadow work self-reflection, self-love after a breakup, the emotional weather of a Venus retrograde, love cards read as comfort rather than verdict. She doesn’t rush to answers and doesn’t hand down diagnoses — she sits with the question first, then walks you toward your own.

Wren Hollow — The Storyteller

Card stories, myth, archetypes, and dream narratives

Wren tells stories. The Fool, the Lovers, the long road through all twenty-two major arcana, and the recurring dreams that keep tapping on the shoulder — she writes them as scenes with people in them rather than as definitions to memorise. You won’t find numbered five-step lists here. You’ll find a beginning, a turn, and a place to recognise yourself.

Seraphina Cole — The Sharp Analyst

Relationship dynamics, self-deception, cognitive bias, and straight-talking reviews

Seraphina cuts to it. Gaslighting and how to hear it, narcissistic patterns, avoidant dynamics, the same type of partner showing up again, the cognitive shortcuts that keep you stuck — plus product and platform reviews where flaws get named out loud. She won’t soften a finding to protect your feelings, and she won’t hand you a verdict the evidence can’t carry.

How we produce content

We are transparent about our process:

  • Research — topics are chosen for their genuine relevance to the inner life, then grounded in established psychology (Jung, attachment theory, cognitive science) rather than superstition.
  • Drafting — first drafts are written with the assistance of AI, which helps us cover a topic thoroughly and in plain language.
  • Human review — every draft is read, fact-checked, and edited by Master before it goes live. The AI does not publish anything on its own.
  • Corrections — if something is wrong, we fix it and note the change.

We are not licensed therapists or medical professionals. See our Medical & Psychological Disclaimer and Editorial Policy.
